My first ever project -- kids scarf
Hi! I have always wanted to learn to knit, and this past weekend I decided to go for it! The videos on here were SO helpful! I decided to make my son a very basic scarf. Eventually I hope to try my hand at some more interesting patterns

Here it is so far!

Welcome!! That's pretty!

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.

Oh, very nicely done. I don't think that garter stitch is so easy to do well. Yours looks lovely on the first try. Good for you for learning to knit and making such a wonderful first project.

Very nice, I definitely like the colors. With just about anything, knitting takes a bit of practice. And regardless of how technical something looks, if you follow stitch by stitch, it really is easy.

Wisdom is knowing what to do. Skill is how to do it. Virtue is getting it done.

That which does not kill you, isn't trying hard enough.
