OMG! Baby sea lion!
I live not too far from Newport Beach..it's where my husband worked as a firefighter. I get seasick, but I'd go out on our boat to see this!

Thanks for sharing this wonderful video. Looks like the little guy wanted to see what everyone else sees when they're in boats, LOL. I would have been in heaven to be that close to the baby!!!! Looks like someone is missing their mommy too.

I can't help wondering how it got onto the boat and where was it's mother?

Not knowing the pups age I'm not sure if he's on his own now or if he wandered off. He looked healthy so he's obviously eating well though.

He went up the swim step on the stern. Sea Lions are pretty adept at getting on boats. After I showed the video to DH he said a Sea Lion looked like it was trying to get on our boat once. Our swim step is different than the one in the video though so I don't think he could have.
