Slippers
Just finished the first of a pair of slippers in Funky Fur yarn after several attempts.

I'll take a photo asap. I was in Israel on vacation and didn't have the project with me.

Ooh, I was just planning to knit some slippers. Knitted some ballet slippers before for my sister.

Are there any techniques for adding grips onto the soles - like on knitted slippers you can buy?

I omitted to say that I still had to sew up the slipper - just on the first one - have started sewing it up and should be starting to knit the second one soon. I've done enough sewing to be able to try the slipper on and it's quite cosy.

Here is a link to the pattern I used:

You can buy leather soles, and there are some products that you can apply that harden into the little pads that come on store bought slipper socks.

I have the first slipper sewn up and have barely started the second - other projects have taken priority.

A couple of yarn ends managed to escape to the outside of the slipper. Since the fuzzy yarn hides the stitching so well, I'll have to try and push the ends through with a darning needle or something like that.
