FO: toddler blanket
I made a double crochet blanket for my two year old granddaughter. It has "suns" scallops around the edge for her like I promised. There is a hood attached to one of the corners. She can put this blanket on and every time she wraps it around her, she'll get a "hug" from Grandma.

That's cute and sweet. Kids love hugs from gramma, don't they? Did she pick the colors?

I told my 4 year old the same thing about the blanket I'm knitting for him, that it's a hug from me Love your blanket.

No, she didn't but this yarn fascinates her. She says, Wow! and keeps fingering the blanket. The picture doesn't do it justice. It's a rainbow color. This is Red Heart Supersaver Mexicali. I remember making blankets out of this yarn for my kids 20 years ago when they were little. The color is still around. An oldie but goodie. I will be presenting the finished blanket to her today or tomorrow.

What a beautiful present! Your granddaughter will be thrilled, I'm sure. Love the bright, cheery rainbow colors, too.
