Cats vs. Dogs
I've noticed that most of the people that I know who also knit, have cats... especially the few people that I knew in college.

So, out of pure curiosity...

Do you own a car or dog? Both?
If neither, which do you like more?

In the last 6 yrs we've had two cats and a dog pass away. :( The cats were very old (17 and 19) and the dog had a heart condition. We were ready last summer to get a new little dog. Her name is Mollie. I think we'll probably get a cat in the near future, too. I love my dog, but I'm really a cat person. They are easier.

I'm sorry to hear about your pets' passing. :(

I'm also a cat person. I hate dogs to the max... except one. Mine. I only got a puppy because my boyfriend wanted us to have one. I agreed & I love this dog because she's just like a cat!! It's ridiculous.

This is my Draco (kitty) & Juniper (puppy).
I named Juniper after a character from a Johnny Depp movie, "Benny & Joon".

This is my Draco again (gray kitty) & Luna (orange kitty).
Yes. I named them after my favorite Harry Potter characters.

Most dogs are very sweet, but just like with cats there can be one that's not user friendly.

Your pets are so cute! Mollie is the one in my avatar. We think she's a Doxie Pomeranian mix. Might do the DNA just for fun.

At the present time, I have two cats in the house! One is mine...about 18 years old...calico...She has had her ups and downs but is doing OK at the moment...She loves to sit out on the screened in patio...I have a tuxedo cat that belongs to my son.....I said I would keep him until he got a house (was in an apartment)...but now he is in a house, and I can't seem to part with him He is definitely a bit of an imp (son and cat!!! take your pick!!)
I have had dogs along the way...but love my dear cat. She has been with me through thick and thin. She seems to always end up in all of my knitting (a hair or two!!)
