Not positive yet. I've tried to start a few things using them, but I keep changing my mind. I think I'm being picky because I dyed them... like an overprotective mama lion over her cubs. Lol.

Haha. I LOVE it. And the yarn knits up amazingly! My goal was to make it look bloody & blood spatter like. I named it "Slice of Life" after the show "Dexter"... my FAVORITE show.

Be sure they are wool. Acrylics won't take dye and cotton doesn't do well with food colors as I understand.

You're correct GG. If folks want to dye cotton or nylon, there are special dyes for those. http://www.dharmatrading.com/dyes/index.html

I read online that it's possible to dye not only wool with kool aid, but also cotton.

But definitely not acrylic.
