Has Anyone Used Listia?
Wondering if anyone has used Listia with any success? I found multiple yarn auctions, some even from my own small city, but on here the only mention was for crochet needles and that's been a while. So, has anyone else used the service and enjoyed it, hated it, etc? It can be found at:

Thanks, 'topher

I haven't heard of Listia before now.... I've used Freecycle, though, for (has it been?!) nine years, Offering, Wanting (rarely), and supplying items to people who've posted Wants.

Take a look. I just checked the homepage at, and here are the current statistics:

"Welcome! The Freecycle Network™ is made up of 5,121 groups with 7,283,156 members around the world. It's a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns. It's all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills."

No one keeps tabs on what you offer, supply, or take. It's completely cash-free and free-will. I can't say enough good things about Freecycle.
