another felted purse
I always forget to take pictures of my projects and these days they are so far and few between or just boring mitts and hats for my boys. My mom asked for a new larger purse so I pulled out the brightest wools in my stash and set to work. I sent it to her felted (remembered to take finished pic at the PO) and since she is a better sewer than I she will line it before adding grommets and the strap. I knit the strap just didn't take a picture.

That worked out beautifully. The colors look great together. I'd love to see another photo with the lining and strap added on. What a great joint project!

Oh yes, please post finished photo with lining. I love your color combinations! Do you felt in a top loader machine?

I forgot to ask:

What kind of yarn did you use?

How did you felt it? I know it has something to do with the washing process, but I would like to know how you did it yourself.

THANKS!!!!
