I forgot to upsize my needles after the ribbing...uh oh?! Aren't cables tight?

They do pull in, but depending on how many cables it may be okay. Are there only a few? How far are you?

Since knitting stretches it may be fine, but you aren't too far in so you could tink back to the edge of the ribbing and restart with a larger needle.

Can you try it onto see if it's too tight? Or take the time to put it on waste yarn to test it if it's too hard with needles. It's better than ripping it out if you don't have to.
