Knitmaster Ribber Jamming
Hello!
I bought a second hand ribber on ebay, I have set it up however I'm finding the carriage jams when i pull the carriages across to cast on, I have checked checked that I have all the settings correct. My only thought (from my limited knitting knowledge!) is that the retainer bar may need replacing as the needles don't seem to be sitting up against the edge like they do on the main bed, they drop back a little bit, I have attached a picture as i thought that might help. Does anyone know if this would cause the problem that I'm having?
I have never used a ribber before so could be missing a trick, like i say i have triple checked the instructions.
I have a picture but i dont tink this forum allows you to attach images?
thanks!

only have info for the photos...

yes you can attach a photo in the forum... when in the message creation (or reply) screen, scroll down to "Additional Options" then "Attach Files".

that gives you a pop-up screen where you can find the file on your computer, and upload. the file types and max sizes are listed. you can use bmp doc gif jpe jpeg jpg pdf png psd txt zip file types.

...hope that helps

Welcome to KnittingHelp!
There aren't very many machine knitters here but there are some. With a litle patience and luck, one of them will see your post and be able to help.

Yep, 99% hand knitters and crocheters here! but I think a few dabble with machines. Just be patient for an answer.
