Good Evening!!
Hello:

My name is Katy, and I am a nanny in Alberta, Canada. I just taught myself to knit over this weekend, and am soo excited. This website was the first to catch my eye because of the easy videos, and the fact that I seemed to learn so much from them so quickly!

Anyway, I need to get to bed, but I thought a quick intro would be nice for all you folks!

Katy

Welcome Rebecca, Burt, Kathy, and all the others who have recently joined up!!

Burt, the chopstick needles sound really cool. I want to make my own dpn's when it comes time for me to give those a shot. I laughed at my boyfriend once for suggesting I use shish kabob skewers instead of buying needles, but I guess it could work!

Hi! I just joined after lurking for a little while....I found out about it from a knitting class that I took last month... We watched many of the vidoes and they are soooo great!
The group is so nice too- I like how everyone shares what they are doing - what a great bunch of folks!
Thanks a million- this is my new favorite site :XX:
