Hello!

I've been a lurker here for a while, and finally decided to register and say hello!

I've been knitting for about a year now, and I'm totally addicted. I just received a set of KnitPicks Options, and am LOVING them! I'm about to start my first sweater on them... WICKED!! I found the pattern on here in the knit alongs, and fell in love with it!

I can't wait to get to know everyone here a little better.

Welcome, Purl! I think you'll find that the majority of us really like the Options. You'll love the boards, there are so many nice people.

BTW- if you need any help on your sweater, we're always here to help!

Hi, i thought i'd introduce myself. I am Lindsay, im 25 years old, and i have been knitting for a year exactly! I learned to knit so i could do cloth diapering stuff for my son. Now, its grown into an addiction. I've done socks, and now i have my first sweater on the needles for my son!

The New Newb
New here. New to knitting. Started...10 days ago. My first project was coming along nicely, and then i moved, and now I can't find the other needle! Lucky for me I'd already purchased another set of needles and more yarn. But so far I like knitting, I think someday I might be pretty good at it, and I'm open to advice. Also, I despise scarves, and I constantly need new challenges, so at the moment I'm trying to devise simple patterns for myself based on what I can do and what I think I can do. Any suggestions for easy knitty things that are not scarves would be awesome.

I've been on this site for a few weeks now and just realized this was here. Anyways, I've been knitting for almost 2 years now. I've just recently branched out from knitting dishcloths. Two very good friends of mine teased me for the longest time to do so and I finally did. Anyways, I'm from Northern MN. I'll be 30 this September, married for 10 years, have 3 amazing kids and I'm a full time Dental Hygiene student. I've printed a lot of patterns off of here and after today (my last day of school for 3 months) I'll be sorting them out. Right now I'm knitting my new nephew a blanket (he's arriving in August). Well, I better stop now before I write a novel. can't wait to get to know a few ladies on here!
