New to the site and to posting
What a helpful site. I used to knit like a fiend and have gone back to the craft after at least a twenty year hiatus. I find this site really useful as a refresher course for some of the things I've forgotten.
Now that my second daughter is expecting her first child I'm knitting for the new little one and really enjoying it.
I am also an avid rubberstamper and have over two thousand rubber stamps and a craft room to work in.
I've suffered with arthritis for many years and my hobbies are what keep me "relatively" sane.
I'm currently searching this site for help in making bobbles on a little sweater.

hello!
I'm Donna from England and look forward to getting to know you, mostly am looking forward to learning from all you experienced knitters!

My knitting urges come in fierce waves, I rarely complete anything and am still at Absolute Beginner level. Although I'm getting to grips with simple cable and colour changes and other Advanced (for me) techniques, at the moment I am having some trouble which I'll post about elsewhere!

Welcome to the forum I'm going to copy your post to the how to section and perhaps someone can help you there. I'm actually sitting here taking a break from knitting bobbles myself so if you have a pattern that you're working from let us know.

Welcome everyone.
Barbiedoll have a look in the Pattern section of the forum for ideas for new projects. There is a sticky there with lots of sites with free patterns.

Hi everyone,
I'm Wendy and I live on Cape Cod, MA. I love to knit. I'm mostly self-taught and always seem to want to knit something that requires me to learn a new technique. Now I'm searching for help with 2-color knitting for a project that I want to felt.
I'm sure I'm going to like it here. It seems like a busy and helpful place. Thanks for letting me join. - Wendy
