Rorshach...just beginnin?! my...u r so ambitious....that's wonderful...an afghan and a dress....your wife loved watching u love it & wanted to learn,as well, huh?! I think that's great.
My sweet, sweet husband loves that I knit & enjoy it & supports my habit with glee, but would never dream of joining in other than observing, trying on a thing or 2, making comments on how well this looks, and stuff like that, but...if he had needles in his hand...there would be a problem...he would be possessed by something other than he...for sure!!
Gosh, Stacey, hope u r doing well after your surgery!! And it sounds as if u r off & going like crazy like the rest of us!!
ok, forgive me..i forgot who said they were surprised by finding LYS in your town...but u can buy all over the net!! And, of course...everyone else knows....my favorite is knitpicks.com they are very reasonably priced for quality yarn and elann.com always has a great selection at great prices

I've been lurking for a while and just wanted to say "Hiya" to all. Thank goodness I found this site. I'm a semi-new knitter (learned years ago, then forgot it ALL!) and I was stuck on a pattern :thinking: . The videos helped me get "unstuck".

Hi... My name is lol.. Kidding aside, my name is Anne... from Southern Maine! I too have been a lurker... gleaning as much information as I could and having a great time reading the blogs... although folks are really starting to look at me funny as I sit here at work and giggle away! I agree with everyone! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS SITE! The videos are wonderful.. (I think even I might get brave enough to cable!)
