I've been knitting a little over 20 years, mostly sweaters / summer tops and started knitting socks about a year ago.

I also have a couple of free sweater patterns on my blog should anybody be interested.

Welcome Patrizia! You certainly have some beautiful knitting on your blog.

Hi Everybody

My is Alisha and I taught myself knitting a little over 5 months ago, thanks to the Knitty Gritty and KH for the videos. When I don't understand how a stitch is done, I come here for answers and Amy has not let me down yet. P.S. Did anybody catch Amy on Knitty Gritty this morning?

My name is Becki and I live in Japan. I decide knitting was a good way to keep myself busy in the evenings when I don't have a lot to do.

I'm self taught as well, and am currently working on my first project. Its a baby blanket, nothing special, just the knit stitch all the way but I'll be adorning it with little white bows when I'm finished (mostly to hide my mistakes!)

I use bamboo needles, as they are the only ones sold in the store close to me but have purchased some metal ones on a trip back to the states.

I travel a lot for work and pleasure, and am hoping to meet some fellow knitters along the way, as well as add to my yarn collection (I'm a sucker when I see something pretty or soft!)

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to do a quick intro since I just signed up. I've been knitting over 25 years, machine knitting about 11 years and I took up spinning about a year and a half ago. Love the videos here as there's always something new to learn.
