Hi Folks!
I'm Glen... I've been visiting this site for a few months (ever since I started knitting). I think it's now time that I start posting a few topics... I've got to thank AMY for her great videos 7 & teaching me how to knit!!

I work as a Mobile Radiographer in Toledo, OH... I also have a few small businesses that are doing "fair". I make perfume, and I make puppy perfume. I also have a booming Low Carb business.

In my "free time", I like to weight train (I've lost a total of 80 pounds over the past 2 years). I work on Stained Glass projects, play with my annimals (1 Chow Chow, 1 Tea Cup Chihuahia, 1 cats, 2 HUGE birds, and a bunch of Koi in my 1500 gallon water garden.

My latest hobbis is Knitting (or course). I've made a TON os scarfs, pot tolders & sweaters for my little chihuahua. I've started a felted bird house, a few hats, and an Afghan. Maybe I'll tackle a sweater in the near future.

I must say that I feel a little out of place in a knitting forum... Not quite the "manly-est" hobby in the world.

Hope to talk to everyone soon!

Glen

Knitting not manly? Who do you think knit sailor's socks back in the day? You're not the only guy here, so don't worry about us picking on you. Welcome. :D

Hey Glen. Welcome to the forum. It's been interesting seeing the number men increasing even since I joined the forum back in April. Whether it's manly or "knot"... it's a pretty cool hobby. And just because you knit doesnt make you any less of a man. Glad to hear you'll be adding your perspective to the forum. Looking forward to hearing your thougts and perspectives on the threads.

1. PICTURES OF YOUR POOCHES!!! We are a puppy-lovin bunch.
2. Link to the pattern for the sweater you knit for your chihuahua! My Howie gets COLD in the winter!!

And this is another one of Opie Joe!!!

Pebbles sweater patterns came from the "Family Circle Easy Knitting" Magazine. I'm not sure of the issue... I gave it back to my friend!
