Introduction
Hello all. I hope I am doing this right. I just started to knit and joined a Yahoo group and everyone is suggesting this site. So glad I came to check it out. It is quite awesome. I haven't knitted anything yet, except 3 quick scarves, but hope to jump in soon.

New Here
Hi All I'm new here and new to knitting. I know all the basic stitches but have failed miserably at trying to make any sort of wearable, so I'll probably drive you crazy asking questions!! I live in Texas with my hubby, our son is on the USS Mount Whitney, we have 2 indoor cats and a 12 yr. old pekingese. Looking forward to getting to know and talk to all of you

Well none of us have gone crazy yet by answering questions. Of course maybe some of us were already there!

Welcome!

catlvr i'm not sure there is enough sanity combined on this site to drive anyone crazy with questions. We all have had questions and once asked there is someone with an answer just waiting.

Next time you speak/write to your son thank him for his service. Also as his parents I thank you for the support you are giving him.

Hey!
This is a wonderful site! I started trying to learn to knit about a year ago with a book. I did learn how to do the knit and purl stitches but that's about it. Eventually I gave up....until now. While cleaning, I found all this yarn I had bought and decided to give it another try. I found this website, watched the videos and it was like the cloud had been lifted away. I was so excited to start again and I am doing pretty good. Of course, I haven't tried anything really hard yet. But I'm sure with all of your help, I'll be a pro shortly. Thank you soooo much for being so helpful and for having such a great website.
