Welcome Sandra! With five kids, you'll have lots of knitting to do!

Hello Everyone-

I'm sitting at home with a cold today- husband and kids are out, giving me some "peace and quiet", and I'm taking my time browsing the forum- suddenly realized I've been posting here and there, but never posted here to properly introduce myself! How rude!!

Anyways, my name is Margie- I've been knitting for about 3 months- I had learned once before just how to do garter stitch, but left it at that. Now, I've definitely been "bitten" by the knitting bug, and I can't stop........I did a few scarves, a hat, a teddy bear sweater, 2 felted bags, and now I am working on my 1st sweater. The front and back are done, and I'm halfway through my 1st sleeve. It's going more slowly than I would like it to!

I'm a stay-at-home mom who babysits three one year olds. My 2 boys are 6 and 8. I love this site- couldn't imagine knitting without it! I've asked a million (ok, maybe not quite that many) questions, and am amazed at the quick answers I always get. There are some super-talented people here- I hope to be able to knit half as good someday. I'm working on it!!

So, there I am in a nutshell. Thanks to everyone for their help and encouragement. You're a great group!

So, there I am in a nutshell.
You had me at that one... every time someone says that, all I can see is Mike Myers (I think it was in Austin Powers ) rolling around on the floor, saying "No, this is me in a nutshell . . . 'HELP! HELP! I'm in a nutshell!'"
OK, I'm over it now...
Welcome! Glad to have you here!!
