Welcome, Earthchick!!

You've come to the right place to banish your knitting idiosyncracies; or, perhaps you'll find that you've just entered a world where we all have our little idiosyncracies, and we're proud of them and are learning to live with 'em!!

Either way, we're glad you're here, and you will find all the help you need to make a beautiful prayer shawl for your SIL. What a sweet idea.

Hi everyone! I found this site a few hours ago while looking for a way to work with more than one color, and I absolutely love it. I taught myself how to knit, so seeing different ways to do things is a lot of fun. I've only been knitting for a few weeks, but I feel as though I've been getting better gradually . My current project is a scarf for my little brother...gold and maroon, like Harry Potter. He was very specific as to what he wanted!

I'm looking forward to learning from all of you!

WELCOME WELCOME, Tailea!

What a neat name!

There is a Harry Potter Scarf knit-a-long goin on in the knit-a-long forum (where else would it be??) and I bet you would have a FANTASTIC time joining in on Amber's little "competition"!!
