I'm New Here
Hello everyone. I just found this site yesterday and not a minute too soon. I started knitting in November. Just want to wish you all Season's Greetings for whichever way you celebrate. I hope to get to know many of you out there.

Yours in knitting,

Thanks Amy,

This is a great site. I just started to learn knitting and I am also left handed. I am one that does not give up that easy so I am determined to learn this craft. I taught myself how to crochet with books so I know I can do this especially with the videos. They are awesome! Thanks again!

You'll find lots of slipper patterns here (click link):

If you're knitting in stockinette stitch (knit one row, purl the next), the right side will be the knit stitch side, and the wrong side will be the purl stitch side.

If you're knitting in garter stitch, you'll be knitting every row. You'll determine the wrong side if you make a color change, because there will be a "pretty" side where the color change looks nicer.

I'm not sure what it means myself, but if you post your question to the "How To" section of our forum, you'll get lots of answers!

HI
Hi,
I have been knitting for many years, but now am retired and find I actually have time to really do some serious knitting and quilting. It is amazing to me how informative this web site is and you can actually communicate with other knitters without leaving your home.

I am very exited and look forward to knitting with you..

I love love LOVE this site!

I've discovered that I'm a visual learner as opposed to learning through reading and the videos on this site make everything look so simple. I was always intimidated by knitting but now I see stuff and I'm like $15?? PSSSHHH I could make that!! LOL.

I'm so glad you guys are here, and I love the forums I'm sure I'll be around asking a million questions. I've got a 5 year old who loves when Mommy makes her stuff and an infant (10-20-08) who has no choice

I'm looking forward to getting to know you guys
