I am just making little multicolored clutches right now, but when I use a pieceof my yarn to bind the sides, it is visible after felting on some colored sides... I figured IF I could use the clear thread, it would eliminate that issue, as well as beingless bulky... HELP!!! Thanks!!!

I would not use clear quilting thread if I were you. The thread would probably stick out of the seams, because it won't shrink like the wool when it's felted. You should use the same yarn for the seaming that you used for the knitting of the bag. Then, it will match perfectly. Good luck!

Hi Rhonda. I would not recommend Lion Incredible for an afghan. It is a ribbon yarn that works well for summer tops and shawls. Afghans turn out best if you use wool or acrylic yarn. If you're on a budget, I would recommend Vanna's Choice or Lion Wool-ease or even Red Heart Super Saver. Those three yarns would hold up well for an afghan, and would wash and dry well.
