If you post your question in the "How To" section, you'll get some help, I'm sure. Good luck!

Hi Ann - Here's a video that shows how to do a "wrap and turn".

Hi!
The little knitting guy is a graphic I got from a web site. It's not so difficult to do, really. You can right click on an image and "save as" then copy and paste it here in your profile section.

Hi All,

I just found this site and I am hoping that by joining this site I will learn from all of you out there who love to knit. I tried to learn to knit about 15 years ag, but with little success. I am a lefty who did not learn to tell her left from right until about age 25! So, as you can imagine, knitting has been a bit of a mystery to me! I picked up yarn and kneedles yesterday and have decided to give knitting another try. I should mention here that my Scottish-Canadian grandmother was a fearsome knitter. I hope to learn not only about how to knit, but also I would like to learn about the "Scottish knitting" method and any history on knitting as it relates to Scottish culture. Thanks for such a wonderful website and I look forward to learning from you all!

Good morning,

Thanks for the welcome.
My old mother (95) livesr in a,assisted living, apartment and she decided to knit again. I visit her 3times a week and decided to join her in that.
However it has been more than 30 years since I had knitting needles in my hands and I have now a heap of knitting books lying beside me and lots of questions.
Talk to you soon,

New member/new knitter
My sister got me started knitting right after Christmas and now I think I might be addicted! So far I've only finished an easy scarf and am working on a table runner now. I'm still learning and can't imagine yet knitting anything but flat for awhile yet! I am so thrilled to find this site while looking for more help. Boy you can learn anything on the web! I am so grateful to everyone that has come before me as I've already learned quite a bit just from reading some of the threads! Thanks to all!

Hi
Hi everyone. I am new to this type of communication and would
like to become part of your group. I have a few questions but
don't know where to start. Any help would be most appreciative.
In particular I love to Knit, Crochet and some craft work.
I sell some of what I make at our local craft fair in October.
Thanks. Ruth
