Hello everyone. I've actually been lurking around the site/forums for a couple months, so I figured it was about time to introduce myself: I'm Kathleen and I live in Virginia. A couple of months ago I decided I needed a hobby and knitting it what I jumped to. The videos have definitely saved me more than once.

Looking forward to talking with all of you more!

Hi! I'm Kimberley
I have been cross-stitching for almost 20 years, but it's so hard to get all my stuff out and quickly put it away with little ones about. I have 2 grown children and 2 little ones still at home. I also watch my 1-year-old grand-daughter four nights a week. I saw a facebook friend's photos of things she's knitted and I thought, "That's it! I have to learn to knit. The hats and sweaters are gorgeous, and I can't afford to pay someone to make them for me!"

I love this site! I can't read instructions (even with pictures) and figure things out. The videos have been so helpful. I made a coaster and I'm going to try to bind off tonight.

Hi, newbie here!
Hi all! I'm new here and just wanted to introduce myself. I just started knitting last week, so most of this is very confusing to me! I've been practicing the basic stitches and I'm hoping to start my first real project soon. Any ideas or tips are welcome!

Hello from Sheffield, UK
Found this site when I was looking for some advice on how to 'knit in the round'.

Still checking it out but everyone seems very friendly and I'm looking forward to chatting. I have just taken up knitting again after about 30 years, I was doing lots of counted cross stitch but bad eyes and aching fingers meant I needed to find something that I can do without squinting and aching!
