Hi lesley. If you could tell us why you're not happy with the items you make we can be more specific in helping you. Knitting takes time and practice to get better at, and most of the time it doesn't look perfect on the needles but will be a lot better looking when you wash or block it. You can post a new thread in the General Knitting or How To forums.

Hi I am Josh, I am 37 and I work road construction. I have tried to knit a couple things, they didn't turn out all that great. I taught myself off of youtube videos. I was referred here by a friend. I am certain that the information here will help me out better than youtube does.

Hi Josh, welcome. Well you can get a lot better feedback here than the Youtube videos if you're not sure about something.

Hello
Hi, my Samira and I am a new knitter living in NYC. I was taught the basics (knit and purl) by a coworker back in April and have been hooked ever since. So far I've made an infinity scarf, a beanie, a baby hat and some fingerless mittens. I've learned as I go along by watching videos on youtube and browsing here and on ravelry. I really enjoy reading all the posts here and have picked up many tricks and techniques
