Hi all! I'm returning to knitting & crocheting after many years away. Now that I'm semi-retired I find I have some time. Right now I'm making dog sweaters - very basic pattern. I hope to get to the more advanced patterns & will most likely be asking you all for lots of help. Really happy that I found this site.

Glad that you found us too. Welcome!
Wonderful to have the time to spend knitting and dog sweaters are a great way to go. We'd love to see photos of the finished sweaters if you'd like to post them.

Hi, mom2pugs. Help is what Knitting Help is all about. I learned to knit and have never been to a class. KH made it possible. Check the free videos, grab your yarn and needles, and cast on! The long tail cast on or a knitted cast on are great for starting out. Happy

Intro & question
I guess you would call me an intermediate beginner. I can knit, purl, caste on and off with ease. However, some of the more complex stitches really get me or I simply forget them when I haven't used them in a while. So, your site is incredibly helpful! Videos here are so much better than others. Love the forum too!

I am interested in buying some of the videos that aren't free. If I do, will I always be able to access them online here? Or will I have to pull out DVDs each time?

Thanks!
