I'm rather new at knitting. Just tried my first felting project - making felted slippers I made slippers and did the hot water, mild soap, rinse - just fine. I did a single strand slippers not double. Then comes the shaping. Well, I managed it.
Question: If I give these for a gift, how in the heck will they ever clean them? Nobody but someone who birthed these things would go through this ordeal of getting the shape right.
Is there something I don't know? Do they remember their shape forever more? Please help!!
P.S. Amy, if you read this, I don't know how I could have got through a pair of socks or the slippers without you!!
I see from your other post that you've figured out the felting and shaping questions.
Happy Knitting!
Amy
