Knit the Besotted Scarf With Me

I started knitting the besotted scarf, my firt cable anything and wanted to know if anyone would like to join in the pattern is at helloyarn.com and the scarf makes cute X's and O's

edit: aha, here we are.

LadyPurl, what yarn are you using for this project? I'd like to turn this into a stash buster if I can. Are natural 'unwashed' wools a good call, do you think, for cable work? I seem to recall reading somewhere that they show the stitches in relief better.

Well im using acrylic because iw ant to get rid of all of it that i can, but wool sounds really good, and i also heard the same about it showing the stitches better while cabling, i will post a pic when im done if thats what you asking, bu i think you should just use what you have. BUt im so happy someone wants to do the scarf with me it gets to e more fun once youve memorized the pattern though

How far into the scarf are you? I may cast on today or tomorrow... I'm trying to finish a drumstick on my Olympic project and I'm also working down a sleeve for my YOTS Knitalong.
