Yarn substitute for wool ease?

does anyone have any idea what kind of non animal fur type yarn i can use in place of lion brand's wool ease? ... I just knit a cat toy for my cats and i really think that the wool in the wool ease would itch a lot. Oh I am making pants from issue 1 of knit 1 magazine.

wow, i think that any worsted weight yarn would substitute. if you are making pants, you may do well to have a bit of nylon in the mix.

yea i checked the yarn store today... I need to wait and see when I have enough money to buy all the skeins. I will post pics tho :D
