handy pattern resizing tutorial
Not sure if this info belongs best in the General Knitting category, or Patterns, or How-tos, so I'll go ahead and cross-post it. Hope that's OK.

I was just visiting elann.com and found that they had a handy tutorial on resizing patterns. It's kind of hidden away on their site, though.

To find it, go to www.elann.com
On the black menu bar, click on "Info/Help."
You will see a new set of white buttons underneath the black menu bar.
Click on "Yarn FAQ," then click on or scroll down to "Can a pattern be resized?" Voila -- It demonstrates how to resize a pattern, with pictures and 1000 words.

[Here's the direct link. ~Amy]

I never seem to be able to find patterns that I like in my size. This is definitely worth the time and effort. Thanks so much for the tip.
