plus size patterns
I am new to knitting and have done dish cloths and scarfs, I would like to try a sweater, however, I can't seem to find anything in plus sizes, and I don't know how to make x-lg to xx-lg. Any suggestion where I can get these EASY patterns.

Lion Brand's website has several free plus size patterns. Also, there is a plus size pattern book out there but I can't seem to recall the name of it.

Found two more
I just bought two wonderul books for PLUS size gals. The first one is called "Big Girl Knits" and the other is called "Classic Knits for Real Women". YOu can buy BOTH of them on Amazon.com for under $34.00!! The BGK's one is $30.00 alone!! So its a wonderful buy.

The BGK is a funny book to read and the way they explain how to measure and do's and don'ts make the book work buying. I like many of their patterns. BUT the Classic book I just LOVE. The projects in that book are much more to my style.

I HIGHLY recommend both books. :XX: :XX:

I have the Style at Large book also and these two books have much more style than that one in my opinion.

I hope you get to check them both out.
