Newbie on forum w/ ?

Hi ... I'm trying to knit a shawl with Trellis (Lion) and can't figure out the easy instructions! Or am not sure of myself because of the Sz 19 needles and the yarn type.

Is this where I ask?

What is the pattern you're working on? Is it a free pattern?
I think you'd be better off working on size 15 needles, 19s might be too big.
