That's cute. I was thinking of getting something knitting related on my motorcycle license plate. Like "Knit 1" or something.

There's a woman in my guild who has been talking to Yarn Harlot's publicist, trying to get her to come to Marengo to The Fold, so that's possibly where one of her stops is, maybe?

Andrea ...

I just remembered that you & Chris are motorcycle people, too. Did I tell you that DH has a bike? It would be fun to get together for a ride sometime!

(I'm not as cool as you, though. I don't have my own bike.)

I just got my first Yarn Harlot book... maybe I need to move it up the reading list in case I get to go hear her read!

Tax-Free shopping at Wool and Company this weekend!!!!

From the email newsletter:
Celebrate with us this weekend - visit us and we'll pay your sales tax - Saturday 22nd and 23rd April. Visit any participating business in Downtown Geneva that is displaying a tax free zone poster and they'll pay your sales tax.

not that I'm going... I just got a bunch of stuff from knitpicks (again) and DH has been grumbling about MORE YARN....

Well, we'll just have to see if we can work that out, then. You're off *some* weekends, aren't you? Maybe we could meet up for a ride & then head out to dinner or something.

Yes, I'm off every 5th and 6th weekend. My next weekends off are May 19,20,21 (which is our get together) and Memorial Day weekend. So it'll be the 5th and 6th weekend from those  I LOVE midnights/shift work!! I can always sacrifice some sleep though and do it anyway...

OK, but lack of sleep and motorcycle riding ... what's wrong with this picture?
