Doily/Face cloth

I'm a beginner knitter and have just started knitting washcloths. I want to knit one with directions "K1, YO" (twice), k2 tog, YO, k11, turn. I don't understand the "turning" part. Can someone help me? Like give detailed instructions? Thanks in advance.

When they say "turn", just turn your knitting and start working in the other direction. If its at the end of a row, I guess they don't really have to tell you to turn. I'm guessing that there are still stitches on your left needle. Just leave them there. Turning before finishing a row is called short-row shaping. :XX:

You simply turn the knitting like you would at the end of the row, except you haven't knit all the stitches of that row.
