pattern definition
I am knitting childrens mittens and am at the shape thumb stage....
the pattern states knit 16(m1,k1 twice,knit to end of row.My question is...
what does the m1 mean?

M1 means make one. It's an increase. Check out the video on increases. It'll be a lot easier to understand than if I try to explain. :D
