Hi, I'm Christine and I'm the owner of Home Made French Knitted Accessories. As the name suggests I make French Knitted accessories, such as flowers, mats, necklaces, teachers pointing sticks, brooches - the list goes on! We have also introduced children's project packs whereby a pattern for one of our items is purchased, along with guidelines for spool making and french knitting and the children make the item up. Our website goes to show that the art is suitable for anybody! I've been working on this art for a few years but just launched my website last month! Please take a look at it - I'm very proud of the products we offer! We ship worldwide.

Thanks for reading! Christine

Come by and visit ChantalsCraftyCorner.com !!!
Hi! Where do I start ??

I started knitting .. I don't know .... about 15 years ago? And have loved it ever since. I also taught myself to crochet and struggle as to which project I should start first, a knitted one or a crochet one. My dream is to open a LYS in my area, but for now, I've gotten my feet wet with an online shop called ChantalsCraftyCorner that i've been running for a little over 1 1/2 years now.

I just love yarn and really can't help myself when it comes to buying it. Can you imagine what it feels like when I walk into my supplier's warehouse and I get to pick and choose all kinds of yarn??? Very dangerous!!!

Please feel free to drop by and take a look, i'm in the process of updating my web site to a fancier one, but this one does the trick for now.

If there's something you can't find, please let me know. I do special orders (on a min 5 skein purchase), if my supplier has it in stock, the order is usually ready to be shipped out within 48 hours.

Comments / suggestions are always welcome!

woolgirl.com - for handpainted yarns, handmade accessories
Hi everyone!

If handpainted yarns is your thing, you will love this new online store!

http://woolgirl.com

It's owned and operated by a very nice lady named Jenny, and her focus is on small fiber artists (such as myself), handmade accessories, and one-of-a-kind yarns. She also carries a few larger-name yarns such as Malabrigo and Noro.

USPS Priority Mail Shipping is a $6.05 flat rate for orders that total from $1.00-$75.00. For purchases over $75.00, shipping is FREE to US addresses.

When i was a kid...
When i was a kid, about 5 or 6. My mum used to do alot of knitting. I would sit with her for hours holding the ball of wool and feeding it to her as she knit, watching the ball get smaller until it was gone, then she would start anotherone. I used to love the feel and the softness of it. No, moral to this little story, just thought i`d share that with you. Although now i am starting up a business selling the stuff, you can find plenty @ www.habbyworld.com At the moment i dont have many different types, just about 16 different types at the moment. I have labeled them to what i think they are, but if you think different, then please leave me a message here so i can change the names, although alot of people call the different styles alot of different names dont they ?

New yarns and colorways are up at Inspirations Yarn
Hi,

I just stopped by to let you know that I've just added a bunch of new stuff to my site, Inspirations Yarn (www.inspirationsyarn.com).

We have 2 new yarns, a merino/bamboo/nylon blend sock yarn and a worsted weight merino/silk blend and I've dyed up new colorways of each. In addition, we have new colorways up in several of our other yarns.

We also offer $1/ per pattern shipping on pattern orders and we have our own line of patterns as well as those from Fiber Trends and Yankee Knitter. We carry the full Yankee Knitter line and are expanding the Fiber Trends line regularly so if you don't see it we'd be happy to get it!

We're also having a clearance sale on Denise Needle kits, currently marked down ot $39.95 so if you've been thinking about getting one now is the time!

Please stop by and have a look, I'd love to hear what you think of the yarns and colorways.

thanks,

Margaret
