Making tassles

Still working on the same scarf I had gotten help for the last time I was here. :XX: Turned out wonderfully - despite a few noticeable mistakes.

However, it calls for 120 8" strands used for tassles. I've already cut 60 strands for one end. The only instructions the 'pattern' gave me was to put three together, but it doesn't say how to bind the tassles and keep them from falling out. I was wondering if anybody here knew how to do that.

Fold the yarns in half and insert the folded end into the hole where you want the tassel. Pull that through the hole a little bit. Put your fingers in the hole and grab the yarn hanging on the other side and pull it through. Ta da!

Yep.. and you can use a crochet hook to pull them through your knitting. Much easier than trying to squeeze them in with only your fingers.
