Guess What Guess What I just did!!!
I have been fretting ever since i have learned about felting that i wouldn't be able to do it because i have a front load washer. Well tonight i felted my very first project, which really doesn't amount to much more than a swatch as it is just a stitched together cell phone cover but i didn't want to do anything big until i knew it was going to work and it DID!!!! WOo Hoooo!
Now i can start my booga bag.....sometime....soon.....but not tonight cuz i need a big ol' nap!
Isn't it amazing!! Gotta love that felting!!
Brenda, were you looking for Noro Kureyon 95 for the Booga Bag? I have a few skeins if you are still looking for that color.
Don't be nervous!!! the pattern is SO easy. Skip the "pick up twisted stitches" thing and just pick them up regular. There's lots of posts about booga on KH, so if youget stuck I'm sure you'll be able to find help!!!

lol....well i have two pairs of really clean ol' sneakers now! threw a couple of pairs of jeans in too. I have a really big drum on my washing machine (my brother works for Frigedaire and hooked me up well!! ) so i had to put a bunch of stuff in there to agitate it well. I ran it through the cycle hot 1 1/2 times i would say and it came out fine i think. if it were biggger it would probably need more time i would guess but it went better than i expected!
