Brrr! I need a long cardigan. Patterns anyone?
I've seen a lovely long cardigan on elann's website in Katia Book 45. (See attachment). The trouble is it will cost a fortune to buy the book and have it shipped to england, especialy for one pattern. Does anyone have any patterns for a long (to ankles) ribbed cardigan/coat with a collar and buttons like the one I've fallen in love with? It's getting a bit chilly ya know!

P.S I am new to this site and I love it. Just moved away from my mum who taught me to knit, and the sites been so handy if I need to learn new techniques. Thankyou to the powers that are behind it!

Hi and welcome to the party! :D

I did a quick search, and found this http://www.mcadirect.com/shop/produc...7fb0652c4296a2

from your side of the pond. I think it's cute that they say "your trolley" insead of "your cart." Sounds soo British!

Try searching THIS PAGE,

I think THIS ONE would be adorable if you just kept knitting all the way down...I like the collar!

That collar is rather luxurious, but I think its the ribbed pattern I like. Ive seen this pattern on mango moon,

http://www.mangomoonyarns.com/Ribbed_Jacket.html

do you think I could knit in a different yarn so it looked similar to my original choice?
