I've wanted to do a Hogwarts scarf for a long long time, and now i'm inspired! I'm really new, so first i'm gonna have to learn how to knit with a circular needle AND how to change colors! haha. I guess i'll be STARTING mine when the movie comes out! Nonetheless, I will do it!
Yeah! It's really easy, don't worry about it! I finished this scarf today, and it was my first project ever.
Here's the monogram I did in duplicate stitch...
I'll be starting a book color CoS Ravenclaw scarf next! Yay!

OK. So I got my circs. Should go quicker now. I also just looked up tha Jogless Jog technique that KellyK told me about b/c I don't like that shifted look when I changed colors. Here we gooooooo... :XX:
I know it's late in the piece and I would only have about a month to finish it before the movie comes out... but I'm gonna give it a shot anyway :D
I'm going to make the Gryffindor PoA scarf.
I've had to improvise with the colours, and will be using an Australian wool "Heritage" in a deep red and butter yellow. I hope it will still look okay.
The yarn is currently on hold at my LYS, and I pick it up on Thursday. I have about 1200 yards of red and 406 yards of yellow, so I'm hoping I won't run out.
I don't mind monotonous knitting, I can tune out. And because I use continental method, it seems to zoom by anyway :D
