I've met John Stamos. He was at a local car show years ago, I stood in line to meet him, shook his hand and he autographed a picture for me.

My uncle was a bodyguard for Rob Lowe while he was filming on location in St. Augustine, FL. My uncle was an officer with the local fire department and Rob hired local guys for security. So I met him too, that was much more of a one on one kinda thing.

And my dad grew up with the VanZants of Lynyrd Skynyrd.

I didn't answer when I initially asked, so I will now :D

I met Ryan Newman (NASCAR driver, and hopefully my new avatar) last year. I love that guy.

I went to the police academy with the sister of Sean Hayes (Jack from Will and Grace). We went to the 2000 Emmy's with him (he won that year, as did the show). At the afterparty, Louis Anderson (comedian and former host of Family Feud) asked if I had any cocaine in my purse.

Hmm.... Let's see...

I spent a week at the same hotel as the group Loverboy during their heyday. I was 11 and played Ms. PacMan with them in the lounge at night. Very nice!!

I met Howard Jones (again in his heyday) after a concert.

But the scariest (and perhaps my proudest encounter) was with Grace Jones in the Atlanta airport. She was so scary and yet totally cool!!! I was 12, travelling alone and lost and she was there with this purple stovepipe hairdo and was wearing a red, hooded cape trying to help me find my gate to make my connection. She's an AMAZON but FABULOUS!

Since the 80's not much has happened, i guess.

Same question.

I grew up with Emmitt Smith, former running back for the Dallas Cowboys, as well as a few other former pro football players....Pat Moorer and Reginald Johnson (in the south, football is HUGE).

John James (from Dynasty) kissed my cheek once At Saint Anne's Round-Up, I met Tony Danza there also.

My boss' daughter is the ADORABLE little girl in The Notebook.

I shook hands with James Taylor at one of his concerts. I've spoken to his brother Hugh on the telephone. (He owns a B & B, and also makes music. I called the B & B to order his CD and they put him on the phone!)

UGH! Must be boring Cincinnati...I have no celebrity encounters.

What is the longest period of time you've gone without knitting since you began?

Seriously, maybe a weekend... and only because I was busy. Once I learned to knit, I haven't stopped. It's TOTALLY my thang!

How much do you spend on groceries per month?

I was just griping to my mom about spending another $200 today.. I swear, I must spend $600 to $800 a month. My 14 year old boy eats like a horse.

I spend roughly $500 a month for two teenage boys and me. I honestly don't know where they put it.

I had to go almost a month without knitting much when I moved. I did manage a few times during that month to do a few rows on a dishcloth. Not much knitting there at all.

Do your pets have "friends" come over? One of my Mom's dog's, Isaiah is here now visiting and having dinner with Solomon, he just decided he wanted to come hang out. I'll see if I can get a pic.....

my dogs have friends next door and they all just hang out at the fence. there's another doggie in the next neighborhood that they LOVE. Other than that, it's not really a good idea to bring dogs into the house, Emmie seems to have issues with them (she's the BOSSY one). My mom's poor dog just HATES coming over. I think he'd rather go to the kennel anyday!

Heard any good jokes lately?
