Ahhh, Ingrid, my soul sister!!
My 5yo asked me for a juice the other day as I was knitting... I started to open my mouth and he rolls his eyes at me (!!!) and says... "I know, I know, just a minute, you need to finish your knittin..."(that's how they both say it, rhymes with 'mitten') I couldn't decide if I should scold him for being such a smart a$$, or laugh because I was so predictable...

So when I stay up too late knitting (too late as defined by DH...NO self-respecting knitter would EVER claim there is such a thing as too late to knit!!!), DH fusses at me to go to bed earlier. He says it's just because he doesn't wanna hear me whine about how tired I am. But I know the truth...sometimes, he's just a knitta hata!

Nah, I'm jk! I my DH. Hey, he let's me buy yarn...how can you NOT love him to death???

If you fake a back ache so you can sit on the couch and knit all day instead of cleaning and doing the laundry...... you may be addicted to knit.

( no comment on where I got that one from... * cough cough* )

If you go to walmart for new curtains and find your hubby pulling you out of the yarn section by the arm and another lady laughing at you ...... you might be addicted to knit.

(um hehehe I went to walmart yesterday...bad idea went for curtains and left with a pound of peaches and cream, lol )

That's because you decided to save money and knit the curtains. Right? *wink, nudge.*

If you're being told to evacuate your building (at work), but you have to stop and grab your knitting project, just in case you'll be out there for awhile......

(I swear this was ALMOST me yesterday! I just didn't have time to get to my desk...)

I dont carry a purse I carry a knitting bag with me everywhere. You just never know when your going to be sitting idle.
Personally a fire alarm is a great time to carry it, what if there was a fire , you wouldnt be going back in anyway.

If you say no to chatting with a room full of firemen.

My ds was taking a cpr class last night . He was about 30 min late getting out and 3 different firemen came to the car to see if I wanted to go inside and sit "we have coffee and water". Like water is going to lure me in. They thought I was crazy when I told them no because I was actually getting time to knit. (Maybe I should knit them some dishclothes or mittens or something {as a thank you} )

Bright, you mean the water didnt lure you in? I seen some firemen calendars, did those men look like that at all? I have never seen the inside of a firehouse, I might have been tempted.

I love Idaho by the way, lucky you. I miss the pacific northwest, sniff sniff.
