How to argyle
Hello everyone,

I am new to knitting help, and would like a resource to give me good instructions on how to knit argyle patterns. I am looking for a new challenge, and have recently learned the intarsia method. Is this the way to knit in argyle? Please help!

Yes, argyle is knit intarsiafor the main triangles, with stranded for the single diagonals. Here is a potholder pattern to practice on.

Hi Ingrid,
It's me again. The link to this potholder isn't working anymore. But I think I understand... do I weave in the stranding of the single diagonals like on the philosophers wool link you gave me before for fair-isle?

Thanks, Amy

That's the way I understand it.
