Good modular knitting book
I am interested in learning modular knitting, but the book store only had one book and the instructions were not very clear. Anyone know of any good ones?

Anyone feel free to jump in here and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that Domino Knitting is all about modular knitting.

You can go to this site and sign up for weekly modular knitting tutorials. Then, if u join the yahoo modular knitting group you can downloard all 14 of the tutorials right away rather than getting one tutorial per week. I did that and I recently order Iris Schier's Modular Knits. I'm afraid that I've only had the chance to glance thru the book & tutorial, but from what I've seen it's all that you need.
FYI, to join the group go to yahoo.com and got to 'groups' and put in "modular knitting' under the group search and you will be directed to it to join. It's well worth your time if u r interested in modular knitting

Oh Rebecca that was a very cool web site. I enjoyed looking that over. I of course have no idea how to do that but I do like the looks of it. I think Kaffe Fassett did an afghan in that modular in one of his books.

I love my book; the artyarns site is what got me interested in joining the yahoo group so that I could get all 14 tutotials at one time...then I knew that I had to have her book...it's very cool!! Got it @ Overstock.com ...it was very inexpensive, shipping was a dollar and it was here within the week!! Can't beat THAT !

Thank you everyone. I bought Iris Schreier's book this weekend. One of the owners at my favortie LYS encouraged me to try it. She said don't over think it-just do what it says. I am on the third triangle of the multi-directional scarf (pg 32-33). It really is pretty easy though!

On DIY it has Nov. 14th as the date here is the description:

Vickie Howell welcomes Iris Schreier, the author of Exquisite Little Knits, who's sharing three great belt designs. She will demonstrate how to cast onto and bind off of rings with a cool suedelike yarn; wrapping ribbon around stitches while knitting another stylish belt; and creating a fun racing stripe on an ultra-hip doubleknit belt. :XX:
