Looking for alpaca.
Hi girls.

I found this fabulous pattern in a magazine tonight that calls for over 1700 yards of 100% alpaca, lightweight , 50g (1 3/4 oz) in black. Does anyone know where I would be able to find this at a deal. I'm hoping not to spend more than $80 on the yarn (because I also need a couple balls of white too!!)

Thanks!! :XX:

Try www.elann.com . They have some reasonable alpaca.

What's the gauge and needle size of the pattern? If it's about 22-24 st per four inches, then it's dk.
