I just called Julie & finally got through.....she is so touched that we've been thinkin about her! DS is still fighting that fever, and has been, since Saturday night, receiving the expert attention of the Infectious Disease specialist at Ronald McDonald Childrens' Hospital at Loyola. They are trying to pinpoint the cause of the fever and it has proved a challenge, so he is on all kinds of anti-everythings.
When I spoke to her, she sounded really positive. A few of the staff were having a chinese food party for DS in the playroom. They do their absolute best there to keep everyone in their best spirits....they really are amazing.
She can still use our thoughts and prayers, so keep sendin 'em!!
Oh no, what's happening? What'd I miss? ...Julie's son has a mysterious infection?
Julie, I'm praying for your son's health! All of the best to you all!

"There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep yourself open and aware to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open."
