circular.....double pointed....what?????
i am sort of new to knitting and i want to know-

how do you switch from circular needles to double pointed as you begin to decrease, like in a hat????

if you know the answer please respond!!!

You can either just slip them from the circ to the dpns, dividing them up as you go, or you can knit them on, dividing them up as you go. So you would knit say, 10 onto the first dpn, 10 onto the second, etc.
