What does it mean to "turn" work
I'm working on a sweater and am at the point where I'm shaping the neckline. The pattern calls for knit stitches and then "turn" work. I don't understand what that means.

it means exactly that. like you would turn at the end of the row, turn your work when it tells you to.

Just thinking...could this be short row shaping? It would be kind of unusual for it to say "turn" if it wasn't. After all, if you aren't knitting circular, you always "turn" the work. If it is shaping, don't worry if it says turn before you are actually at the end of the row. Just do it when it says and it will all work out
