stich pattern question
*sl 2 wyif, k2; rep from *

Ok so...

Do I move the yarn to the front and slip 2, move to back and knit

or---

Slip 2, then MYIF and knit


is it all about the comma placement?

Yeah, I think the commas are critical here.

slip the 2 stitches with the yarn in front, then knit the 2 stitches 'regular'--with the yarn in the back.
