KH Monthly Challenge: November

I made it! I felted my mittens! And November isn't over for an hour and a half!

They have really long hairs all over them, though. The yarn is Nashua Handknits 75% wool/25% alpaca. I hope I can fluff the surface up a bit after they dry. Or maybe they'll get a little trim. :thinking:

My camera is AWOL, so I'll have to do pics later. Off to work on the hat!

2 more firsts! My first Knitpicks order and I plan on using some of it to make my first pair of clogs! Yay me!

School will be out in two weeks, then I can knit for a month! Yay!

I finished my socks and they are going to be perfect for lounging around. They're a bit large for shoes, but hey...they are made correctly for someone with bigger feet! :D I used size 3 needles and have started another pair using size 1's.

Socks are fun.

I know we've moved on to this months challenge but I promised to post a picture of my baby booties and they were a first for me so I think I should still put them here.

Knitqueen: your pattern is really really nice!! I love it I think they came out a little large for a newborn but that's alright, we all know they grow up before your very eyes so he'll soon be able to wear them I think.
Before I give them, I'll think of another drawstring though; I don't like what I have used right now, will probably replace it witch a thin ribbon or something. :thinking:

Those are so cute! They would look adorable w/ a blue or pink ribbon inserted!

I have some leftover sock yarn that I think I'll use to make some of these. I had tried the pattern using some other yarn, but they came out WAY too big & floppy. I need to downsize my needle & perhaps double the yarn. Love the pattern!
