LYS vs Online Yarn
I found a felted bag that I want to try (after the socks!) so I of course need some wool. I know a lot of you use WOTA..can you get that in a LYS or do you have to buy online? Is there anything wrong with LYS wool? Is WOTA softer or something?

BTW I don't have a problem buying online, I'm just curious..and impatient. :rofling:

I think WOTA can only be purchased from KnitPicks. It is great yarn, I it because it is cheap, and comes in lots of colors! There is nothing wrong with lys wool, I love all the different brands! I really like working with Noro Kureyon, you should try it sometime!

Holy cow! I just looked at KP and the price is really good! I doubt I can get it for anything close in a LYS! Thanks!

KnitPicks is exclusively online & one of the only 2 places that I buy yarn! The other would be kpixie.com they both ROCK!! I have requests for gift certificates from each site for my bday & Christmas
